This oil filter adapter is fully machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodize in black. It is similar to other adapters on the market. It weighs 17.2 oz. and is made of billet aluminum rather than cast aluminum. The adapter mounts where the filter screen and housing use to be on the accessory case and mounts the filter in a vertical position up high. This allows longer times between oil changes.
